Assassin's Creed: Odyssey Has Leaked

Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey Has Leaked

Assassin’s Creed games leaking by way of merchandise is nothing new and this year appears to be no exception. Jeuz Video, a French Website, posted an image today, showing a keychain with the name Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey. Given the shape of the keychain and the word Odyssey itself, it seems like Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey has leaked and the game will take place in Greece. Last year’s entry, Assassin’s Creed: Origins, took players to Egypt after a one-year break for the franchise.

Here’s the image of the keychain showing Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey has leaked:

Kotaku has confirmed the leak, stating that Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey will build on the role-playing elements introduced in Assassin’s Creed: Origins, this time adding a choice between male and female protagonists, branching dialogue options and more. According to their sources the game will be out by the end of Ubisoft’s fiscal year 2019, which ends on March 31st, 2019. This would also mean the series is returning to its yearly entries instead of going to a two-year cycle.

We’ll almost certainly learn more at E3. Ubisoft is holding their E3 2018 showcase on June 11th, 2018 at 1 p.m. PDT. We’ll keep you up to date on any announcements made during the conference.
