It looks like preview members may soon be enjoying Burnout Paradise as part of their XBox 360 backwards compatibility list! Criterion Games has confirmed they are in talks with Microsoft to bring their game to the Xbox One via backwards compatibility. Because of this the title will get the extra features of Xbox One, like snapshots and video recordings. They are also saying it actually looks better on the XBox One just by porting it over. This could make sense for all ports as the texture rendering capabilities on the Xbox One are far better than those of the Xbox 360s. We’ll have to wait and see.

Not familiar with Burnout Paradise? It’s an open world arcade styled game where you can do anything. Take to the roads in Paradise City where you can discover events, perform jumps or signature take-downs all in an effort to earn the hotter more dangerous cars.

Want even more challenges? Not a problem, take it to the online mode with up to 8 player support.

We’ll update as we learn more.
