During today’s Nintendo Direct presentation, players got some news on Dark Souls Remastered for the Switch. The news wasn’t something really related to the finished game other than an announced network test that will happen soon. No date on when this event will happen. It will give players who have never tried the Darks Souls series a look into the darkness.

The test will also include the PS4 and Xbox One console. Once the date is announced, we here at TiCGN.com will let you know. Personally I can’t wait to play this game on the mobile/hybrid console. So players will get a network test and an Amiibo.

I did not believe this when the other writers told me about the new Amiibo. I had to watch the Dark Souls part a few times to let this sink in. Given the fact that a new Super Smash Bros. was also just announced, we may have a chance to use the Solair of Astora or another character from the game in the epic brawler. You can pre-order the Amiibo from GameStop’s website right now for the price of $15.99. Dark Souls Remastered is coming out on May 25th for the PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
