Halo: Master Chief Collection is a pack of 4 Halo games that have been re-released for Xbox One in 2014. The developer of the game 343 Industries just confirmed via twitter that the gcollection will receive Xbox One X enhancements and some major bug fixes. The list of fixes or Xbox One X enhancements is still unknown but these should be available in 2018.
The developers are planning to kick things off on spring but the updates will be incremental and preceded by community testing. So it looks like it may take a while to fully patch this game.
Halo MCC has had a lot of issues at launch, mainly related to the multiplayer portion of the game. Most of them have been ironed out but it’s still quite surprising that they will be patching such an old release. Maybe with the new graphics enhancements some gamers may consider getting the collection – especially since it is super cheap right now.
