The Last of Us Part 2 Will Push Graphics To A New Level

Naughty Dog revealed a brand new trailer of their upcoming game The Last of Us Part 2 during the Playstation Media Show at Paris Game Week. The trailer suggest that the game will be very brutal and rather dark. They presented a very disturbing scene where one of the characters narly gets her arms chopped off – with a hammer.

What makes these scenes even more disturbing are the game’s graphics. Naught Dog confirmed that the game’s trailer was using in-game footage and it sure looks very impressive.

The graphics are a clear upgrade over the previous game and surely feel next-gen. Neil Druckmann also confirms that even though the game engine is based on the Uncharted 4 tech, they are still modifying it to provide even better visuals in the upcoming The Last of Us title. If you want to find out what sort of graphical improvements we can expect from Naughty Dog’s new game, check out the short interview with the developer.
