Microsoft Has $100,000 For Your University If You Can Figure Out What To Do With HoloLens

Microsoft is reaching out to academics to find innovative uses for its upcoming Augmented Reality device which we all know as HoloLens. The program is known as Request For Proposals (RFP) and in a blog post Microsoft challenged to research and develop holographic experiences and uses for HoloLens in society. Microsoft states they will accept proposals from nearly any industry from medical research to art and even psychology. As an incentive, Microsoft will award five prizes of $100,000 and two HoloLens developer kits to the universities that submit the winning proposals.
