A new Guilty Gear title was announced at Evo 2018 by Arc System Works CEO Minoru Kidooka. Guilty Gear is a series of fighting games first published in 1998 by Arc System Works and has been an integral game in the EVO competitive series because it is a 1v1 centric fighting game.
Kidooka teased the new game on stage following the Guilty Gear Xrd: Rev 2 finals, “Unfortunately, Guilty Gear director Daisuke Ishiwatari couldn’t be here today, but he is hard at work on a new Guilty Gear title, and while we can’t show it to you today, please wait a little longer”. Guilty Gear fans will have to wait a little while longer, but maybe not too long since we are already half way through 2018.
