The studio behind notable PlayStation exclusives God of War Collection HD and The Order: 1886 has hired a new CEO and is hard at work on new IPs that may arrive on both Xbox One and PC according to comments from a recent interview with Game Informer.
“What we did on the PS4 for The Order: 1886, we can also do today on Xbox One, PC, and on an additional unannounced platform.”
The new CEO, Paul Sams, said that the studio is currently exploring the option of self-publishing games and has recently opened an office in Austin, Texas for that purpose but also cautioned that they are considering “all options” which means that a console exclusivity deal is not out of the question either. While no specific titles have been announced Sams pointed out that Ready At Dawn has worked to ensure that its engine and technology tools work on multiple platforms. “What we did on the PS4 for The Order: 1886, we can also do today on Xbox One, PC, and on an additional unannounced platform,” Sams said while also noting that the company is “platform agnostic” at this point.
