Microsoft will show “a lot more” of ReCore, the upcoming Xbox One exclusive from Mega Man creator and Dead Rising designer Keiji Inafune, starting next year. That’s according to Xbox boss Phil Spencer, who says he recently saw the game and reports that development is progressing well.
“You’ll see a lot more of ReCore in 2016,” Spencer said to a fan on Twitter. “I watched team play last week, great progress.”
ReCore was announced during Microsoft’s E3 2015 briefing in June. However, since then, the game has stayed largely under wraps. It’s in development at Armature Studio–founded by Metroid developers–and stars a character named Jewel and a robot-dog companion called Mack.
